Lee Kennedy
CEO/Managing Director, AVMetrics

Ed Pinto

Lee entered the collateral risk space in the mid 1980's as an appraiser before joining with the nation’s largest thrift where he collaborated with AVM developers and public records vendors to develop automated valuation solutions and appraiser-assisted valuation productivity tools. After leaving the lender in 2004, Lee was part of the executive management team and a minority owner that formed to transform a regional credit bureau; American Reporting Company (ARC), into a successful regional settlement services provider including appraisal, escrow, credit and pass through title. Lee started AVMetrics in 2005 as a spinoff of ARC and has grown the company to a dominant position in the AVM model validation, testing and collateral consulting space.
Lee was a significant contributor to the publications; AVMs 101 and AVMs 201; has written numerous articles for industry journals; and several “White Papers” on AVM Cascading logic systems, scoring methodologies and platform integration strategies. He is a frequent speaker and panelist for the industry as a recognized expert in the testing and use of AVMs and an authority on current AVM regulations and guidelines.

Lee is a certified residential property appraiser in California and a Navy Veteran having served with meritorious distinction as a Nuclear Engineer aboard Fast attack submarines during the cold war.
