Virginia Gibbs has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting with particular expertise in banking and real estate. Ms. Gibbs is a senior supervisory financial analyst in the Credit Risk Section in the Division of Banking Supervision and Regulation of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. She has been with the Board for 20 years and is the policy analyst for the real estate lending standards and real estate appraisal regulations. She is the Federal Reserve’s representative on the FFIEC Appraisal Subcommittee. Prior to joining the Board, she served for three years as a court appointed asset manager for the estate of a failed Maryland savings & loan. She was also a management consultant for an international public accounting firm. Ms. Gibbs holds a MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, and a BBA from St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame, Indiana. |
